"YOU'RE where?"

"Hotel de Ville! Not around, near, or the metro - but inside!" "What?! For a show?"

This was the conversation I had with a friend about an hour before the Dries van Noten show in March.  I actually have been there for a show and a photo exhibit once, but few really get to enjoy it from within its grand halls.  So first, I must thank you, Dries, for bringing us inside.  Also, I'm sorry but it was me who put his light set-up on the really expensive chairs.  [He was pissed, but we had a good laugh about it later. ]

The collection was great and I can only wonder where we'll end up next season..

DON'T touch that dial/

The picture at Chanel Couture is just fine!

This season, Karl and Co. really put it on. And although they rarely allow backstage during their collections, lady luck was on my side this time.

GREY is the english spring/

It def rains in England, but Gareth Pugh's spring collection opened up the Paris season on a ray of sunshine; gorgeous grey clouds shining through with detail and workmanship at an incredible presentation. The Hot hot hot backstage was an understatement of a makeup sauna that was one of the most calm I can remember. Who would have thought..  No complaints, no screaming, just a walk in the rain.

FERRE/

Long day, and tomorrow will be longer. Some photos from Ferre while I try to get some sleep.
